The IRC is very much in its infancy in creating a biobank of DNA and cellular material from African Wildlife from free ranging wildlife in South Africa. Initially our focus was rhino, but quickly we realize it is imperative that we save as much viable cellular material from as many species as we can, while we can, and so we broadened the net.
